An Allegiant McDonnell Douglas MD-88, registration N414NV performing flight G4-738 from Orlando Sanford,FL to Elmira,NY (USA), was enroute at FL330 overhead Savannah,GA (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Savannah, where the aircraft landed safely about 18 minutes later.

A passenger reported she heard they diverted to Savannah due to electrical problems on board. A replacement aircraft delivered them to Elmira after midnight.

A replacement A320-200 registration N253NV reached Elmira with a delay of 7.5 hours.
