The aircraft remained on the ground for about 29.5 hours, then returned to service.
A passenger reported the crew announced about 20 minutes after departure that they were returning to Heathrow due to a flaps issue. The aircraft performed a "harsh landing" about one hour after departure, stopped on the taxiway for a few minutes, then taxied to a stand where the passengers disembarked normally and were bussed to the terminal. They were rebooked onto other flights to Geneva.
