Aeroflot B738 at Moscow on Mar 25th 2018, could not retract landing gear

An Aeroflot Boeing 737-800, registration VP-BON performing flight SU-22 from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Saint Petersburg (Russia) with 145 passengers, was climbing out of Sheremetyevo's runway 24L when the crew was unable to retract the landing gear, stopped the climb at FL110, burned off fuel and returned to Sheremetyevo for a safe landing on runway 24R about one hour after departure.

Rosaviatsia reported the gear lever, while being moved up to retract the landing gear, became stuck in the intermediate position and could not be moved further up, hence the landing gear could not get retracted.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 32 hours later.
