A Lufthansa Cityline Canadair CRJ-900, registration D-ACKI performing flight LH-1898 from Munich (Germany) to Turin (Italy), was climbing out of Munich when the crew requested to stop the climb and hold for about 10 minutes to resolve an issue. The aircraft entered a hold at FL100, the crew advised they had a left engine (CF34) bleed issue and needed to return to Munich. The aircraft landed safely back in Munich about 30 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.
