A PSA Airlines Canadair CRJ-700, registration N718PS performing repositioning flight JIA-9925 from Kansas City,MO to Charlotte,NC (USA) with 4 crew, was in the initial climb out of Kansas City when the crew declared emergency and levelled off at 7000 feet reporting they had a gear disagree message, possibly because of ice accretion. The crew subsequently reported they had the gear down and locked. The aircraft returned to Kansas City for a safe landing on runway 01L about 30 minutes after departure.
