A Norwegian Air International Boeing 737-800, registration EI-FHZ performing flight D8-5525 from Oslo (Norway) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), was enroute at FL390 about 30nm south of Paris (France) when the crew descended the aircraft to FL340 due to a beginning problem with the cabin pressure. A few minutes later the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure. After levelling off at FL100 the crew decided to continue the flight to Barcelona where the aircraft landed safely about 90 minutes after leaving FL390.

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Barcelona for about 9 hours, then resumed service.
