The airline reported the aircraft returned to Boston after passengers and crew noticed an unusual odour on board which caused passengers and crew to feel unwell. The passengers were assessed at the airport by medical personnel, nobody needed to be taken to a hospital.
The airport reported a number of passengers were evaluated for sickness, noone needed to be transported to a hospital.
The flight was cancelled.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 17.5 hours after landing.
