A Delta Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-88, registration N931DL performing flight DL-2263 from Fort Myers,FL to Boston,MA (USA) with 36 people on board, was climbing out of Fort Myers when the crew stopped the climb at about FL200 due to an engine (JT8D) problem and decided to divert to Orlando,FL (USA), where the aircraft landed safely on runway 35L about 30 minutes after departure from Fort Myers.

A replacement MD-88 registration N926DL reached Boston with a delay of 2 hours.
