A replacement ATR-72-212A registration XA-UYM reached Monclova with a delay of 4.5 hours.
On Jan 4th 2018 Mexico's AIB reported the crew received a fire indication for the left hand engine while climbing between 10,000 and 11,000 feet, shut the engine down and returned to Mexico City. The occurrence was rated a serious incident and is being investigated by Mexico's AIB.
