An Air Canada Airbus A321-200, registration C-FGKN performing flight AC-781 from New York La Guardia,NY (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 185 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of New York when the flight crew experienced an odour in the cockpit described as "wet and smelly article of clothing". Nonetheless, the flight crew decided to continue the flight to Toronto, where the aircraft landed safely about one hour after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced the recirculation and ozone filter and carried out an engine run without further odour being detected, the aircraft was returned to service.
