A Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia Airbus A330-300, registration OY-VKI performing flight DK-2562 from Stockholm (Sweden) to Phuket (Thailand) with 399 passengers, was enroute at FL350 about 50nm west of Astrakhan (Russia) when the crew decided to return to Stockholm due to the failure of their weather radars. The aircraft climbed to FL360 and landed safely back in Stockholm about 6:15 hours after departure.
