The FAA reported the aircraft sustained minor damage to the engine cowl as result of the bird strike.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground in Saint Louis for about 8 hours, then positioned to Kansas City and is still on the ground in Kansas City about 43 hours after landing in Kansas City.
