Oklahoma City Thunder players suspect something hit the nose of the aircraft.
The airline reported the aircraft was descending towards Chicago when the damage to the nose cone occurred, a bird strike is being suspected.
On Oct 30th 2017 the FAA reported the aircraft's nose cone sustained substantial damage while enroute. The occurrence was rated an accident.
