The airport reported the aircraft blew tyres and came to a stop at the end of the runway.
The runway was closed for takeoff and landings for about 6 hours.
On Nov 7th 2017 Iran's CAO reported the aircraft performed a visual approach to runway 31R but overran the end of the runway and came to a stop at the end of the stopway. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained tyre damage. The aircraft had been dispatched under minimum equipment list requirements with different engine power performance. The flight data and cockpit voice recorders were taken to Tehran for analysis, first preliminary results off the flight data recorder suggest the crew attempted to use reverse thrust and unusual braking forces to slow the aircraft. However, the engines were operating at a higher EPR than normal. The engines are undergoing detailed examination at a dedicated engine maintenance center. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
