A Delta Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N385DN performing flight DL-527 from Salt Lake City,UT to Reno,NV (USA), was climbing through 6000 feet out of Salt Lake City's runway 34L when a bird impacted the nose of the aircraft. In the absence of any abnormal indications the crew continued the climb to FL300 and landed safely in Reno about 65 minutes after departure.

The FAA reported the aircraft sustained damage to the radome.
