An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration HB-JYM performing flight U2-1466 from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Geneva (Switzerland) with 145 people on board, was enroute at FL330 about 40nm northeast of Hanover (Germany) when the crew reported smoke in the cockpit and decided to divert to Hanover. The aircraft landed safely on Hanover's runway 27R and taxied to the apron.

The airport reported the crew noticed smoke in the cockpit, the cause of the smoke was unclear. The aircraft was being repaired and was estimated to continue the flight.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 7 hours after landing.
