A Carolux Boeing 747-400, registration LX-GCL performing freight flight CV-603 from Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA) to Dubai Al Maktoum (United Arab Emirates), was climbing out of O'Hare's runway 10L when the crew requested to maintain 5500 feet reporting an engine (RB211) problem. The crew advised they wanted to return to Chicago. The aircraft dumped fuel and returned to O'Hare for a safe landing on runway 10L about one hour after departure.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground about 18.5 hours after landing back.
