A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration C-GGOY performing flight QK-8187 from Vancouver,BC to Fort St. John,BC (Canada) with 75 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing through 3000 feet out of Vancouver when the cabin pressure was lost and the crew observed an aft cargo door warning light. The crew returned to Vancouver for a safe landing about 25 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance discovered the aft cargo door handle had not been stowed properly.
