An Air Transat Airbus A330-200, registration C-GTSI performing flight TS-765 from Porto (Portugal) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 317 people on board, was in the initial climb out of Porto's runway 35 when after gear and flap retraction the crew received a "HYD G SYS LEAK" message at about 3000 feet. The crew declared PAN, worked the related checklist and requested to stop the climb at FL070. The crew subsequently decided to return to Porto, landed on runway 35 about 45 minutes after departure. Emergency services checked the aircraft, which was subsequently towed off the runway.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced the right hand main landing gear door bypass valve.

The occurrence aircraft departed for flight TS-765 again the following day with a delay of 22 hours.
