A Cathay Dragon Airbus A320-200, registration B-HSE performing flight KA-169 from Kolkata (India) to Hong Kong (China) with 130 passengers and 7 crew, was enroute at FL310 about 40nm east of Mandalay (Myanmar) when the crew decided to divert to Mandalay reporting a problem with one of the hydraulic systems, possibly a leak. The aircraft landed safely in Mandalay about one hour later.

A passenger reported the aircraft encountered severe turbulence, it appears control was lost for a couple of seconds also causing electrical problems. The crew therefore diverted the aircraft to Mandalay.
