A LOT Polish Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration SP-EQH performing flight LO-3885 from Warsaw to Katowice (Poland), was climbing out of Warsaw when the crew requested to stop the climb at FL080 due to an issue. About 5 minutes later the crew declared emergency due to a gear problem and requested vectors back to Warsaw for an ILS approach to runway 33. The crew subsequently reported they had now received three greens and positioned for the approach. The aircraft landed safely on runway 33 about 25 minutes after departure.

The airline reported technical problems prompted the return to Warsaw. The passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
