A Qatar Airways Boeing 787-800, registration A7-BCQ performing flight QR-964 from Doha (Qatar) to Denpasar (Indonesia) with 240 people on board, was enroute at FL390 about 120nm south of Hyderabad (India) when the captain reported the first officer (40) had lost consciousness after complaining about chest pain and decided to divert to Hyderabad for a safe landing on runway 27L about 30 minutes later, already past midnight local time. The first officer was treated and stabilized at the airport and subsequently taken to a hospital.

The hospital reported the first officer was taken to intensive care and was fully stable later Saturday (Aug 26th).

The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for 3:20 hours, then continued the journey to Denpasar and arrived in Denpasar with a delay of about 3:30 hours.
