A Condor Airbus A320-200, registration D-AICH performing flight DE-1723 from Jerez De La Frontera,SP (Spain) to Munich (Germany), was descending towards Munich when the crew queried runway conditions and winds for Munich Airport. ATC offered runways 08 or 26, the crew advised after receiving weather information the active runways 26R or 26L were okay. ATC subsequently advised that a runway check had just been conducted on 26L and the runway was basically dry, subsequently runway 26L was chosen for landing. The crew advised they were not sure whether they would have nose wheel steering or not, in case they had nose wheel steering they would be able to vacate the runway. ATC advised they could stop on the runway without inconveniencing anyone. The aircraft landed safely on runway 26L, stopped on the runway and was towed to the apron.
