A Fuji Dream Airlines Embraer ERJ-170, registration JA04FJ performing flight JH-341 from Nagoya to Kochi (Japan) with 67 people on board, was climbing out of Nagoya when the crew stopped the climb at FL220 reporting engine (CF34) oil temperature problems. The crew reduced the engine to idle thrust and returned to Nagoya for a safe landing about 40 minutes after departure.

A replacement Embraer ERJ-175 registration JA09FJ reached Kochi with a delay of 100 minutes.

On Aug 8th 2017 the airline reported the right hand engine showed an amber indication of 155 degrees C for the oil temperature, which was permitted for a maximum of 15 minutes (if not exceeding 163 degrees C), the crew reduced engine thrust which returned the engine oil temperature to below 155 degrees C. As there was no maintenance available at the destination the aircraft returned to Nagoya.
