A Jazz Boeing 757-200, registration C-GJZX performing flight QK-3663 from Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 194 people on board, was climbing out of Punta Cana when the crew received a hydraulic quantity message. The checklists were actioned, the crew decided to continue the flight to Toronto. On approach the flaps and gear could not be configured normally, the alternate systems were used to extend flaps and gear. The aircraft landed safely on runway 05 with emergency services on stand by, stopped at the intersection between runways 05/23 and 15L/33R and needed to be towed off the runway due to loss of nose wheel steering. Emergency services found residual hydraulic fluid leaking from the aircraft. Runways 05/23 and 15L/33R were closed for about one hour until the hydraulic fluid spill was cleaned up. The Canadian TSB reported maintenance discovered a ruptured hydraulic line to the main gear above the center lock actuator.
