A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Boeing 737-500, registration LN-BRX performing flight SK-4010 from Stavanger to Oslo (Norway) with 100 passengers and 5 crew, was on approach to Oslo when the crew did not receive three greens to indicate all gear was down. The crew aborted the approach, worked the relevant checklists without improvement. A subsequent low approach to have the gear inspected from the ground showed all gear appeared to be fully extended. The crew subsequently positioned for another approach and landed safely about 40 minutes after aborting the first approach.

The airline reported the gear indication malfunctioned while the gear was fully down and locked.
