A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Canadair CRJ-900, registration OY-KFK performing flight SK-751 from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Warsaw (Poland) 85 passengers and 4 crew, was descending towards Warsaw when the crew donned their oxygen masks and reported smoke in the cockpit. The aircraft continued the approach to runway 11, already on the localizer the crew advised they would vacate the runway and stop near the runway, emergency services should check their cargo compartments, they would open the passenger doors but not initiate an emergency evacuation. The aircraft landed safely on runway 11 (surface winds 290 degrees at 7 knots, runway 33 active for departures and arrivals) about 10 minutes after reporting the smoke. Emergency services did not need to intervene beyond the checks of the cargo holds.

A replacement CRJ-900 registration OY-KFM was dispatched to Warsaw, performed the return flight SK-752 and reached Copenhagen with a delay of 4:15 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Warsaw about 9 hours after landing.
