A UTAir Boeing 757-200, registration VQ-BQA performing flight UT-5179 from Ekaterinburg (Russia) to Antalya (Turkey) with 237 passengers and 8 crew, was enroute at FL300 about 150nm southwest of Ekaterinburg when the passenger oxygen masks dropped prompting the crew to descend the aircraft to FL140 and divert to Moscow Domodedovo for a safe landing on runway 14R about 130 minutes later.

A replacement Boeing 757-200 registration VP-BLT continued the flight after about 8 hours on the ground in Moscow and reached Antalya with a delay of 9 hours.

Rosaviatsia reported the aircraft suffered problems with the cabin pressure.
