An American Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration N145AN performing flight AA-2709 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to Palm Springs,CA (USA) with 161 people on board, was climbing out of DFW's runway 18L when the crew declared Mayday reporting an engine (V2533) issue, subsequently reporting they had a power loss on one of their engines. The crew worked the related checklists and returned to Dallas Ft. Worth for a safe landing on runway 18R about 20 minutes after departure.
