A Biman Bangladesh Airbus A310-300, registration S2-ADK performing flight BG-52 (dep Jul 31st) from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Sylhet (Bangladesh), landed in Sylhet but ingested a bird into the right hand engine (PW4152). The aircraft rolled out safely and taxied to the apron.

The aircraft however was unable to continue the flight to Dhaka. The passengers were rebooked onto another flight.

The airline reported the bird entered the right hand engine after touchdown and damaged 4 fan blades.
