A Tigerair Australia Airbus A320-200, registration VH-VNF performing flight TT-472 from Adelaide,SA to Melbourne,VI (Australia) with 180 people on board, landed on Melbourne's runway 16 at 20:26L (10:26Z) when upon touchdown the cockpit door sprung open. The aircraft rolled out without further incident and taxied to the apron.

The airline confirmed a minor incident that is being reviewed.

A passenger reported the cockpit door sprung open just as the aircraft touched down and remained open during taxi to the terminal.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Melbourne for 12 hours then resumed service.
