A Sunwing Boeing 737-800, registration C-FTDW performing flight WG-201 from Varadero (Cuba) to Charlottetown,PE (Canada) with 192 people on board, landed on Charlottetown's runway 21 when flight service observed smoke from the right hand main gear and radioed the crew as well as called emergency services. Emergency services inspected the aircraft and followed the aircraft to the apron.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance found the #3 brake hydraulic fitting was leaking fluid onto the #3 wheel brake assembly. One ramp worker came into contact with the hydraulic fluid and complained of eye irritation, was assessed at a local medical facility and released. Maintenance replaced the #3 brake disconnect fitting, serviced and tested the brake system.
