A Pegasus Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration TC-DCJ performing flight PC-383 from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (Turkey) to Hamburg (Germany), departed Sabiha Gokcen Airport's runway 06 but suffered a bird strike. The crew stopped the climb at FL160 and returned to Sabiha Gokcen for a safe landing on runway 06 about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration TC-AMP reached Hamburg with a delay of 1:45 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 13 hours after landing back.
