The hot-air ballons, powered by fire, reached approximate sizes of 10 meters in height and 5 meters in diameter and obviously were released as result of wish making rituals during festivities at the end of Ramadan. ATC warned to release such balloons that can climb up to FL350 and disrupt air traffic.
