A Lufthansa Airbus A321-200, registration D-AISE performing flight LH-848 from Frankfurt/Main (Germany) to Helsinki (Finland) with 137 people on board, was enroute at FL370 about 90nm eastnortheast of Copenhagen (Denmark) when the crew reported an electrical smell in cockpit and cabin and decided to divert to Copenhagen. The aircraft landed safely on Copenhagen's runway 04R about 20 minutes later.

The remainder of the flight and the return flight LH-849 were cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Copenhagen 8 hours after landing.
