A Condor Boeing 767-300, registration D-ABUA performing flight DE-2351 from Rio de Janeiro Galeao,RJ (Brazil) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was in the climb out of Galeao Airport's runway 10 when the crew stopped the climb at 8000 feet reporting a bird strike. The aircraft returned to Galeao Airport for a safe landing on runway 28 about 75 minutes after departure.

The occurrence aircraft was able to depart the following day and reached Frankfurt with a delay of 24 hours.
