An American Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration N114UW performing flight AA-2065 from Syracuse,NY to Charlotte,NC (USA) with 157 people on board, was climbing out of Syracuse's runway 10 when the crew reported upon contacting departure that they could not get all of their gear up and needed to return to Syracuse, subsequently explaining all gear still indicated down and locked. The aircraft levelled off at 3000 feet, subsequently climbing to 5000 feet while holding to burn off fuel, and returned to Syracuse for a safe landing on runway 10 about one hour after departure.

A replacement A320-200 registration N125UW reached Charlotte with a delay of 3:15 hours.
