A United Boeing 757-200, registration N520UA performing flight UA-309 from Chicago O'Hare,IL to Jackson,WY (USA), was accelerating for takeoff from intersection T10 on runway 32L when the crew rejected takeoff at low speed and vacated the runway via taxiway T6 about 2500 feet down from begin of takeoff roll. The crew reported they needed no assistance, they had lost an electrical generator. The aircraft returned to the apron.

A passenger reported the crew kept the passengers informed all the time, the captain announced a generator had failed.

The flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
