The runway and airport was closed until the next morning when the aircraft could be removed from the runway.
On Jun 2nd 2015 the airline told The Aviation Herald both left main gear tyres of ATR-42-500 registration AP-BHI burst on landing. Following successful required maintenance the aircraft returned to service without further incident.
Multan suffered from heavy sand storms on May 30th causing power outages around the city lasting for about 6 hours.
Pakistan's CAA are investigating the occurrence.
