An Oman Air Boeing 737-900, registration A4O-BY performing flight WY-342 from Lahore (Pakistan) to Muscat (Oman), was climbing out of Lahore's runway 36R when the crew stopped the climb at 6000 feet reporting a bird strike and returned to Lahore for a safe landing on runway 36R about one hour after departure.
