A Brussels Airline Airbus A330-300, registration OO-SFN performing flight SN-359 from Brussels (Belgium) to Luanda (Angola), was enroute near Luanda when the aircraft was deviating around weather, however, encountered severe clear air turbulence causing minor injuries to four passengers and 4 cabin crew. The aircraft continued to Luanda for a safe landing.

A post flight inspection also revealed damage to the nose cone of the aircraft.

The airline confirmed the aircraft was deviating around weather when it encountered clear air turbulence causing injuries, mainly bruises, to four passengers and four cabin crew. The aircraft also sustained minor damage to the nose cone. The aircraft is not able to continue the flight to its ultimate destination Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo). A replacement aircraft is estimated to continue the flight to Kinshasa the following day.
