An Aeromexico Connect Embraer ERJ-145, registration XA-PAC performing a charter flight from Torreon to Pachuca (Mexico) carrying Santos Laguna soccer team to their match against Pachuca, had safely landed and rolled out on Pachuca's runway, when the crew attempted to turn the aircraft around to backtrack the runway to the apron, the nose gear however went off paved surface. The soccer team disembarked onto the runway and was bussed to the apron.

The aircraft was pushed back onto paved surface by human muscle power.

The following day Santos Laguna scored a last minute goal to equalize the match against Pachuca for a final result of 1-1.

Pachuca Airport features a runway 03/21 of 2200 meters/7217 feet length (elevation 2316 meters/7600 feet), width 26 meters/85 feet.
