An Aeroflot Airbus A330-300, registration VQ-BMY performing flight SU-1730 (dep Apr 5th) from Moscow Sheremetyevo to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Russia), had completed a seemingly uneventful flight.

Rosaviatsia however reported on Apr 9th that a postflight inspection revealed two fan blades of the left hand engine (Trent 772) had been damaged.

The next day's flight received over hundred dents due to foreign objects on Petropavlovsk's runway, see Incident: Aeroflot A333 at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on Apr 7th 2013, foreign object damage on landing.
