An Air Arabia Maroc Airbus A320-200, registration CN-NMN performing flight 3O-641 from Tangier (Morocco) to Barcelona,SP (Spain), was climbing out of Tangier's runway 10 when the crew stopped the climb at about 9000 feet and decided to return to Tangier reporting a bird strike into an engine (CFM56). The aircraft landed safely back on runway 28 about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement A320-200 registration CN-NMO reached Barcelona with a delay of about 3:45 hours.

According to information The Aviation Herald received one of the engines received damage.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 18 hours after landing back.
