An Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787-8, registration ET-AOU performing flight ET-8803 from Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) to Goma (DR Congo), landed on Goma's runway 35 but became disabled on the runway due to loss of nose wheel steering as result of a hydraulic leak. The aircraft was towed off the runway.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Goma about 9.5 hours after landing.
