The runway needed to be closed until the wheels were replaced and the aircraft had been towed off the runway.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Cluj about 20.5 hours after landing.

On Dec 14th 2021 the AIAS released their preliminary report in Romanian reporting the captain (ATPL, 8279 hours total, 1973 hours on type) was pilot flying, the first officer (CPL, 784 hours total, 594 hours on type) was pilot monitoring. The flight was normal until touchdown, at which point the tyres immediately burst. The aircraft came to a stop about 1040 meters past the runway threshold after a roll of about 650 meters.
The FDR and CVR have been downloaded and are being analysed.
