A Voepass Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PP-PTQ performing flight P3-2267 from Presidente Prudente,SP to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil) with 23 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing out of Presidente Prudente's runway 12 at about 05:35L (08:35Z) when the aircraft encountered the loss of altitude due to a microburst. The crew applied a windshear escape maneouver, was able to climb out and continue to destination without further incident.

Brazil's CENIPA reported the aircraft encountered loss of altitude shortly after takeoff due to a weather phenomen. The occurrence was rated an incident.
