An Air Senegal Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration 6V-ASN performing flight HC-103 from Dakar to Ziguinchor (Senegal), landed on Ziguinchor's runway at about 17:30L (17:30Z) but struck its tail onto the runway surface. The aircraft rolled out without further incident.

Senegal's BEA reporteed the aircraft received substantial damage as result of a tail strike while landing in Zigiunchor, the occurrence was rated an accident and is being investigated by Senegal's BEA.

However, the aircraft departed for the return flight HC-104 about one hour after landing and landed in Dakar without further incident. The aircraft is still on the ground in Dakar on Sep 4th 2020.

Ziguinchor features a runway 10/28 of 1545 meters/5000 feet length and a width of 30 meters/100 feet.
