An ASL Airlines France Boeing 737-700, registration F-GZTP performing flight 5O-781 from Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) to Kittila (Finland) with 105 people on board, was on final approach to Kittila's runway 34 when the crew initiated a go around from about 2200 feet MSL reporting flaps problems. The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 34 and landed safely at a normal speed about 25 minutes after the go around.

The aircraft remained on the ground for about 100 minutes, then was able to depart for the return flight.
