A Biman Bangladesh Boeing 737-800, registration S2-AHV performing flight BG-84 from Dhaka (Bangladesh) to Singapore (Singapore) with 143 people on board, was climbing out of Dhaka's runway 14 when the crew could not fully retract the landing gear, stopped the climb at 3000 feet and returned to Dhaka for a safe landing about 45 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration S2-AEQ reached Singapore with a delay of 2:15 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Dhaka about 16 hours after landing back.
